Am I suitable for Botox® treatment in Brighton?
If you live in Brighton and have noticed wrinkles forming when you move your face such as frown lines, crows feet and forehead creases then you may be an ideal candidate for Botox® in Brighton. These lines form when the muscles under the skin contract, or, tighten up. Brighton Botox® injections into the muscles makes them relax making skin appear smoother.
Botox® in Brighton is not advised in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have a neuromuscluar disease, take blood thinners or have a skin condition again Brighton Botox® may not be suitable for you, however if you’re unsure Dr Bejal will be happy to advise at the consultation appointment.
Is Brighton Botox® reversible?
There is no “antidote” to Botox®, and the treatment cannot be reversed. Many people are nervous the first time they have Botox® so please be assured that the effects of the treatment always reverse with time!
What does the treatment involve?
The initial consultation is at our Brighton and Hove clinic where Dr Bejal will assess your concerns and determine which area should be targeted for injection. Numbing cream is not usually required for Botox® as the treatment is so quick and virtually painless.
What are the side effects of getting Brighton Botox®?
Side effects are generally minimal for most clients. Some of the more frequent ones can include:
Headache or tightness across treated area
Bruising at the injection site
Redness at the injection site
Temporary weakness to eyelid or eyebrow depending on area treated
When will I see results?
It can take up to a full two weeks to see results of treatment which is why it is advisable to wait that time period before considering a top up if required. Results can last from 3-6 months if treatments are carried out regularly.
