WHAT ARE LIP FILLERS?
Dermal fillers used for lip augmentation are made up of hyaluronic acid (HA) a naturally occurring component of human soft tissue. Water molecules are attracted to the HA which helps replace age related volume loss, leaving lips looking plumped and refreshed.
DOES IT HURT?
Many dermal fillers contain local anaesthetic to provide pain relief during the procedure, although it is possible to apply a topical anaesthetic cream prior to treatment to numb the skin. The procedure may be uncomfortable and certain areas, such as the lips, are more sensitive.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The fillers are injected directly into the lips where required to provide instant correction.
At Azure Aesthetics we aim to redefine the lip shape, give back a youthful pout without the tell tale signs of over-injection by adding the filler to the lips in stages.
